The Canadian foreign minister recently conceded that UFOs/OVNIS are extra terrestrial .The governments and leaders of Belgium,Mexico,India and China all too have stated that UFOs/OVNIS are ET in origin.The UN has itself had a UFO policy for some years now(it last dealt with Iran 4 years ago).Mountains of expert testimony,miles of good quality footage,radar correllation,multiple astronaut sightings,radio astronomy satellite verification(Starwalker satellite 1993),...... What do we get spoonfed in Britain? An authorless ,unscientific,incredibly vague `report` stating that its all swamp gas/plasma .I realize there are certain type of people who love to pour scorn and derision on this subject but they are usualy either childishly ignorant or hopelessy cynical.What is needed is an open,impartial,scientific,non hysterical study of this phenomenon instead of being given this laughable attempt at precision propaganda. Its such a shame that people in britain are either too lazy ,too prejudice or just too afraid of mockery to look into this subject for themselves .I realize there is usualy a lot of bias by religious people out there but I think the populace should wake up and stop behaving like sheep. regards Karl (ukufo keep up the good work) ps why do so many exnasa staff head ufo organisations
I totally agree with what you have just said Karl12, it looks like we are being fed rubbish by the powers that be. All we can do is try and trip them up
Are you talking about Peter MacKay? He did announce that he was going to build a landing strip for UFOs at Harbour Mile. I think it was after a sighting of a missile-like object in the sky there - but he was joking! He was quoted as saying:'We've checked with other countries [about UFOs]... and there's no need to panic.'
I agree with you, though, we need an open, scientific, government-funded study. Not that we'll get it, though - or if we do you can bet it'll be bogus affair like the Condon Committee's PR job in the US, way back. All good research that's being done in this field is unfunded, 'invisible college' work.
It is like almost everything else in the world. The powers-that-be, want their finger in every possible pie. They have a simple philosophy. Everything must be paid through the nose for, or taxed. They cannot tolerate anything, outside of their control, that they are not benefitting from. To them, superior, advanced technology means further riches for the 'few'. Nothing else. Of course they will deny the existence of ufo's. Until, by chance, one drops into their laps, that can then be exploited, to the max.
Lets face it. The last thing they want, is a cure for all illness, or a propulsion system, that cost pennies, to run.
